Mad Man Moon – Genesis (1976) SACD Remaster FLAC 1080p Video ~MetalGuruMessiah~

“Mad Man Moon” was released on Genesis’ seventh studio album, A Trick of the Tail, in February 1976. Hadn’t done any Genesis in a while, but happy to get around to finishing another old project from one of the albums from my favorite Genesis era. To my longtime friends; thanks for sticking around…and to new viewers of my channel…thanks for watching! πŸ™‚

A Trick of the Tail was the first album to feature drummer Phil Collins as lead vocalist, following Peter Gabriel’s departure.

The album was recorded at Relight Studios and mixed at Trident Studios in October/November 1975. It also marked the first album that the band would co-produce with David Hentschel. They would work with Hentschel for the n

A Trick of the Tail reached No.3 in the UK, remaining on the charts for 39 weeks, and No.31 in the US. Additionally, the album was certified Gold in the US by the RIAA in March 1990. Also according to Tony Banks in the essay that comes with Platinum Collection, the album doubled the band’s previous albums sales. This success was also financially crucial for Genesis who were $400,000 in debt by the time Peter Gabriel left.

This is the eighth video I’ve made for a Genesis song (and the third for a track from A Trick of the Tail..see “Ripples” https://youtu.be/iS6jt0ATanE & “Entangled” https://youtu.be/bqxEoPVEOOE. This video also features FLAC audio sourced from the 2007 SACD, absolutely the best way to hear this album …..other video links below lyrics.

Hope you enjoy the effort!

As usual HUGE THANKS to everyone who’s art made this new art possible…THANK YOU!!!!!

[Lyrics]
Was it summer when the river ran dry,
Or was it just another dam.
When the evil of a snowflake in June
Could still be a source of relief.
O how I love you, I once cried long ago,
But I was the one who decided to go.
To search beyond the final crest,
Though I’d heard it said just birds could dwell so high.

So I pretended to have wings for my arms
And took off in the air.
I flew to places which the clouds never see,
Too close to the deserts of sand,
Where a thousand mirages, the shepherds of lies
Forced me to land and take a disguise.
I would welcome a horse’s kick to send me back
If I could find a horse not made of sand.

If this desert’s all there’ll ever be
Then tell me what becomes of me.
A fall of rain?
That must have been another of your dreams,
A dream of mad man moon.

Hey man,
I’m the sand man.
And boy have I news for you;
They’re gonna throw you in gaol
And you know they can’t fail
’cause sand is thicker than blood.
But a prison in sand
Is a haven in hell,
For a gaol can give you a goal
[and a] goal can find you a role
On a muddy pitch in Newcastle,
Where it rains so much
You can’t wait for a touch
Of sun and sand, sun and sand…

Within the valley of shadowless death
They pray for thunderclouds and rain,
But to the multitude who stand in the rain
Heaven is where the sun shines.
The grass will be greener till the stems turn to brown
And thoughts will fly higher till the earth brings them down.
Forever caught in desert lands one has to learn
To disbelieve the sea.

If this desert’s all there’ll ever be
Then tell me what becomes of me.
A fall of rain?
That must have been another of your dreams,
A dream of mad man moon.

“You guys are crazy!” See you Down The Dolce Vita!

Down The Dolce Vita – Peter Gabriel (1977) 24-96 FLAC Audio HD 1080p Video ~MetalGuruMessiah~

“Down The Dolce Vita” was released on February 25th 1977 on Peter Gabriel’s first solo album, Peter Gabriel (the first of four with the same eponymous title…most fans refer to the album as Peter Gabriel “Car”.)

Peter Gabriel’s first two solo records (“Car” in 1977 and “Scratch” in 1978) were very popular with me when I was attending high school during the ’77-’78 period when they were released, and his third and fourth (“Melt” in 1980 and “Security” in 1982) when I was attending college in the ’80-’82 period. Although I’ve started a few videos for songs from his first two albums, this is the first Peter Gabriel video I’ve uploaded. I thought one of the ones I’d already started would be finished first, however this one jumped in front of them when I came across the old video with the throbbing/pulsing effect (from Oskar Fischinger’s 1927 short “Berlin Wandering”) and immediately thought of “Down The Dolce Vita”. The video was finished very quickly, and although it could certainly benefit from some fine tuning, I was actually satisfied with the result of the first (and only!) render enough to go ahead and upload it. I hope you enjoy the effort!

The album was produced by Bob Ezrin. Gabriel and Ezrin assembled a team of musicians, including King Crimson main-man Robert Fripp, to record the album. Upon the album’s release, Gabriel began touring with a seven-piece band under his own name.

The photo on the cover is of Peter Gabriel sitting in the front passenger seat of a Lancia Flavia, owned by Storm Thorgerson, co-founder of Hipgnosis and the cover’s designer. For the shoot, which took place in Wandsworth, the car was sprayed with a water hose. The black-and-white image was then hand-coloured and reflections modified by artist Richard Manning using a scalpel.

An alternate proposal was to feature a photograph of Peter Gabriel wearing contact lenses intended to give his eyes the appearance of metallic ball bearings, but it was never produced.

Nick Kent, writing in the NME in 1978, described the album as “a fine record with at least one 24-carat irresistible classic in “Solsbury Hill” and a strong supporting cast of material that, all in all, in a year besmeared with great albums was, in retrospect, sorely underrated.”

[Lyrics]
“Hey Mac, see you down the Dolce Vita!
“Get back, we don’t have time
‘Cos I hear we’re sending off the heroes
When the yera goes, (they’re) out of the bay,
Trying to find a way
to make it alive”

“So long,” said four men to their families
“Be strong till we get back home
And if not, take care of all the children
Until then just hope and pray
We’re gonna find a way
to make it alive”

“You guys are crazy!”

They shout and then we leave the harbour.
In doubt, they’re acting weird
And the sea is whipping up a welcome
If hell come we’re all easy prey,
Trying to find a way
to make it alive”

“You guys are crazy!”

The captain’s hand shook for
the guys to get in place
He said, “Let’s look behind your face”.
With each corner covered, they were all around
Waiting for the midnight bell to sound.

“Out of sight,” cried Aeron through his glasses
“Don’t fight” said Gorham’s smile

All the while, his hand was on my shoulder
I was scared of being an easy prey,

Trying to find a way
to make it alive”

(I won’t be easy prey trying to find a way to make it alive.)

“When you’re gone I never land In Neverland”

Neverland – Marillion (2004) HQ FLAC HD 1080p Video ~MetalGuruMessiah~

“Neverland” was released on Marillion’s 13th studio album, Marbles, in the spring of 2004.

Marillion is one of my favorite bands that I’ve done the least videos for…this is only my second (after “Don’t Hurt Yourself”…also from the Marbles album) effort and hopefully I’ll get my third one finished soon enough. Marbles is my favorite album by the band and if you’re not already a fan, it deserves your attention….the Floyd influence is strong with this one! πŸ™‚

Hopefully the video will find a few new fans for both Marillion and P.J. Hogan’s incredibly beautiful, fantastic film Peter Pan from 2003. If you haven’t yet seen it, trust me, it’s worth a buy on blu-ray because it’s really that amazing and has great repeat value….if not at least give it a rent and and watch it with your family!

Dedicated to my newest, littlest family member beautiful Eve Lynn Mae.

[Lyrics]
When the darkness takes me over
Face down, emptier than zero
Invisible you come to me
..quietly
Stay beside me
Whisper to me “Here I am”
And the loneliness fades

Some people think I’m somethin’
Well you gave me that, I know
But I always feel like nothing
When I’m in the dark alone

You provide the soul, the spark that drives me on
Makes me something more than flesh and bone

At times like these
Any fool can see
Any fool can see
Your love inside me

All these years
Truth In front of my eyes
While I denied
What my heart knows was right

At times like these
Any fool can see
Any fool can see
Your love inside me

I want to be someone
I want to be someone
I want to be someone
Who someone would want to be
Someone would want to be

Wendy
Darling
In the kitchen
With your dreams

Will you fly
again
Take to the sky
again

Undo the hooks
Once and for all
Banish the tic tic tic tok tok tok
Again

Will you be
Yourself for me
Cause I can take it
I can stand
Anything

When you’re with me
I can stand it
I can stand

But when you’re gone
I never land
In Neverland

Want to be someone someone would want to be
someone someone would want to be
someone someone would want to be
someone someone someone someone

Any fool
Any fool can see
Any fool can see
Your love
Inside me

Don’t Hurt Yourself – Marillion (2004) FLAC Audio 1080p Video ~MetalGuruMessiah~

“Don’t Hurt Yourself” was released in 2004 on Marillion’s 13th studio album, Marbles.

Marillion is another one of those few remaining favorite bands of mine that I’d not yet made a video for even a single song! As much as I love their older stuff (and all their stuff up until their very latest album is amazing), Marbles is my very favorite album they have released. I have been working on a couple of the more epic tracks, but those vids are taking more time…so, here’s a quick edit for another of my favorites from the album worked up with the studio track over footage from a live performance. The sync’s not great (it was kinda tricky to start with and i didn’t really spend much time trying) but I think it will serve the purpose to maybe give a taste of this band to some unfamiliar with their work…and not completely horrify long-time fans! πŸ˜‰
Marbles, unlike their previous studio album, Anoraknophobia (2001), which was financed largely by a preorder campaign, it was the publicity campaign that fans financed for the album. Those fans who pre-ordered the album received an exclusive 2-CD “Deluxe Campaign Edition” with a booklet containing the names of everyone who pre-ordered before a certain date. The public release date of the retail single-CD version of the album was 3 May 2004 while a plain 2CD version could still be obtained from the band’s website. A limited (500 copy) edition was released on white multicoloured vinyl by Racket Records on 13 November 2006.

The album did not chart in the UK, due to it being packaged with a couple of stickers, which is against chart rules, so despite selling enough for a top 30 position, the album was declared ineligible for the album chart, however its first single “You’re Gone” reached #7 in the UK Singles Chart, thus becoming their first UK top ten hit since 1987’s “Incommunicado”. The follow-up single “Don’t Hurt Yourself” peaked at #16. Classic Rock ranked Marbles #11 on their end-of-year list for 2004.

[Lyrics]
There’ll come a time when all of this is over
Something else will grow and take it’s place
The brand new car: scrap metal in a junkyard
The children playing will grow up and leave home
Put it away this dream you can’t stop dreaming
Put it away this anger and desire
The open road is infinitely hopeful
Take all those memories and throw them in the fire

And don’t hurt yourself
Don’t hurt yourself
Don’t hurt yourself anymore

There’s old man on a warm and sunny island
No job, no money, just a smile to call his own
Know what he says?
“The past will only haunt you.
Live for today. Each day’s an open door

Don’t hurt yourself
Don’t hurt yourself
Don’t hurt yourself anymore”

Nothing to lose is nothing to fight over
The shining stars!
They’ve seen it all before.

Don’t hurt yourself
Don’t hurt yourself
Don’t hurt yourself anymore

Dust keeps coming. Rust keeps coming. Weeds keep growing. Seeds keep growing
Where you going?

“Sometimes entangled in your own dreams…” The year is 1976, the band is Genesis, the album is A Trick Of The Tail, the song is “Entangled”.

Entangled – Genesis (1976) 2007 SACD Remastered FLAC HD 1080p

“Entangled” was released on Genesis’ seventh studio album, A Trick Of The Tail, in February 1978.

A Trick Of The Tail was the first album to feature drummer Phil Collins as lead vocalist, following Peter Gabriel’s departure.

Back in the day when these 3 records were current, it was sacrilege in some circles to state a preference for the post-Gabriel Genesis (still is in some of those circles!), however I’m proud to say that I’ve always been among those rabid fans of this mid-period sting of albums starting with early 1976’s A Trick Of The Tail, late 1976’s Wind And Wuthering, and 1978’s …And Then There Were Three. I believe they produced some of the most beautiful progressive music by any band ever during this period….of course I still listen to both early period and later period work by the band, but none of it comes close to the stuff they did in the mid to late 70’s. I think I’ve mentioned it before on some of my Genesis videos but it bears repeating… ***If you are as much a fan of this music as I am, and if you want to experience something mindblowingly beautiful….this music enveloping you in sound like you’ve never experienced it before ….buy a DVDA – SACD player and listen to it in 5.1…..one word; OMG! πŸ˜‰

This is the seventh video I’ve made for a Genesis song (and the second for a track from A Trick of the Tail (link to “Ripples” and other Genesis videos below). I was mostly finished with “Mad Man Moon” (coming soon) and during editing I ended up with some effects that needed to go, and which I thought I’d use for a foundation for “Entangled” (mainly the clip of the kayak guy which I thought was a nice match to the rhythm and feel of the song). The image of the row houses is something I originally worked on for BOC’s “Morning Final” and then used heavily in The Waterboys’ “Old England”….THEN held up on finishing those videos when I realized the image would work PERFECTLY with that little ditty from Wind and Wuthering (can you guess which one? LOL!)…..now after holding on to the image for years to make the impact I hoped for….I end up using it in “Entangled”? LOL! Hint: you will see it featured again! πŸ˜‰

Hope you enjoy the effort!

When you’re asleep they may show you
Aerial views of the ground
Freudian slumber empty of sound

Over the rooftops and houses
Lost as it tries to be seen
Fields of incentive covered with green

Mesmerized children are playing
Meant to be seen but not heard
Stop me from dreaming, don’t be absurd, absurd

Well, if we can help you we will
You’re looking tired and ill
As I count backwards
Your eyes become heavier still

Sleep, won’t you allow yourself fall?
Nothing can hurt you at all
With your consent
We can experiment further still

Madrigal music is playing
Voices can faintly be heard
Please leave this patient undisturbed

Sentenced to drift far away now
Nothing is quite what it seems
Sometimes entangled in your own dreams, in your dreams

Well, if we can help you we will
Soon as you’re tired and ill
With your consent
We can experiment further still

Well, thanks to our kindness and skill
You’ll have no trouble until
You catch your breath
And the nurse will present you the bill

The lady we all know…..”Stairway To Heaven” (1971)

Stairway To Heaven – Led Zeppelin (1971) HQ 2014 Audio Remaster HD Video

“Stairway To Heaven” was released on Led Zeppelin’s fourth studio album, Led Zeppelin IV (also known as the Four Symbols, The Fourth Album, Untitled, Runes, The Hermit, and ZoSo) in the winter of 1971.

What is there to be said about “Stairway To Heaven”? Suffice it to say it’s maybe the most popular classic rock song of all time….the cornerstone of classic rock. This video features the 2014 Deluxe Edition Remaster uploaded in lossless audio….you need to listen to it in HD to get not only the best picture, but the best sound.

I finished my first Led Zeppelin video a few months back, but it’s still not available to be played….it’s a bummer ’cause I think that video is pretty good and I’d love to share it. Finally gave up waiting for that one, and decided to make another….this time for another Led Zeppelin warhorse. Was able to push this one over the line since the weather during my time off from work hasn’t been cooperating. The video isn’t quite right as the fast edits towards the end are a bit muddled, but it was one of those sections where I throw so much in that it’s difficult to get timing right and many renders fail to pick up all the components during these type sections. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the effort…..THANKS AS ALWAYS FOR WATCHING!

As always HUGE THANKS to everyone who’s art contributed to this new art….THANK YOU!!!!

Special thanks to:

There’s a lady who’s sure all that glitters is gold
And she’s buying a stairway to heaven.
When she gets there she knows, if the stores are all closed
With a word she can get what she came for.
Ooh, ooh, and she’s buying a stairway to heaven.

There’s a sign on the wall but she wants to be sure
‘Cause you know sometimes words have two meanings.
In a tree by the brook, there’s a songbird who sings,
Sometimes all of our thoughts are misgiven.

Ooh, it makes me wonder,
Ooh, it makes me wonder.

There’s a feeling I get when I look to the west,
And my spirit is crying for leaving.
In my thoughts I have seen rings of smoke through the trees,
And the voices of those who stand looking.

Ooh, it makes me wonder,
Ooh, it really makes me wonder.

And it’s whispered that soon, if we all call the tune,
Then the piper will lead us to reason.
And a new day will dawn for those who stand long,
And the forests will echo with laughter.

If there’s a bustle in your hedgerow, don’t be alarmed now,
It’s just a spring clean for the May queen.
Yes, there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run
There’s still time to change the road you’re on.
And it makes me wonder.

Your head is humming and it won’t go, in case you don’t know,
The piper’s calling you to join him,
Dear lady, can you hear the wind blow, and did you know
Your stairway lies on the whispering wind?

And as we wind on down the road
Our shadows taller than our soul.
There walks a lady we all know
Who shines white light and wants to show
How everything still turns to gold.
And if you listen very hard
The tune will come to you at last.
When all are one and one is all
To be a rock and not to roll.

And she’s buying a stairway to heaven.

For Awhile – Tony Banks (1979) HQ Audio Remaster HD Video

“For Awhile” was released in the fall of 1979 on Tony Banks’ debut solo album, A Curious Feeling. I was big into Genesis during the mid-late 70’s and picked up this record immediately upon it’s release as I always thought Tony Banks was played some of the most beautiful keyboard I’d ever heard. I was not disappointed and found the album very enjoyable….”For Awhile” is a really beautiful tune….I love it still….hope the vid finds it a few new fans….and that those familiar with it find it a new enjoyable presentation.

As usual HUGE THANKS to everyone who’s art made this new art possible….THANK YOU!!! and THANK YOU for watching and supporting the vids. Please give it a comment and like if would….it’s such a drag to make videos to compete with “videos” that are really just an album cover set to music! πŸ˜‰

I feel it leading me
Away to I don’t know where
I might be back someday
But the people and things will change
And no one will remember me then

Don’t need no sympathy
For soon I’ll forget everything
I feel it fading now
And I see in the eyes of my love
Tears for how it might have been

It sure felt good for a while
Yes, it was good for a while
I found somebody to take my hand
To the promised land of the loved

Now as the night draws in
A dark with no promise of dawn
I feel my eyes grow dim
As I see in the eyes of my love
Tears for how it might have been

It sure felt good for a while
Yes, it was good for a while
I found somebody to take my hand
To the promised land of the loved

Yes, it was good for a while
It sure felt good for a while
I found somebody to take my hand
To the promised land of the loved

From a dead beat to an old greaser, here’s thinking of you

From A Deadbeat To An Old Greaser – Jethro Tull (1976) HQ Audio

“From A Deadbeat To An Old Greaser” was released in the spring of 1976 on Jethro Tull’s ninth studio album, Too Old To Rock ‘n’ Roll: Too Young To Die!.

***Warning: As I’m feeling even more nostalgic than usual for some of the great music we grew up with in the 70’s, an even more rambling ramble than usual starts here! :-)***

This is one of those albums that I always relate to listening to the 8-track of frequently during a period of my youth when I had one of my first vehicles (an old mail delivery jeep)….this album, George Harrison’s Extra Texture, Rod Stewart’s Tonight’s The Night, Bob Dylan’s Desire, Eric Clapton’s No Reason To Cry, Neil Diamond’s Beautiful Noise, Alvin Lee’s Rocket Fuel (man, that one was obscure even then!), Gordon Lightfoot’s Summertime Dream and Black Sabbath’s Technical Ecstasy are strongly connected to this little jeep and a very rainy year, but other biggies from ’76…strange how my memory associates certain albums to the place they made the most impact….Destroyer, Jailbreak, Frampton Comes Alive, Sad Wings, Leftoverture, I mostly associate playing in a pickup truck I got right after the jeep….wow! it was an orange Ford with some really cool surfing decals on the doors and a tropical window reflecting decal that took up the entire back window….that truck ROCKED (even when I rolled it into a little creek, four of us crammed in the cab….Alice Cooper’s Goes To Hell in the deck as we went underwater (My first Alice Cooper video very soon!!!)..and some others BOC’s Agents Of Fortune, Steve Miller’s Fly Like An Eagle, and UFO’s No Heavy Petting in a wicked Plymouth Fury III I had between the two…and others from that year Bob Seger’s Night Moves, Al Stewart’s Year Of The Cat, ELO’s A New World Record, Genesis’s Wind And Wuthering and most other things from that year,I recall my room and turntable…..a couple of biggies Boston’s debut, Rush’s 2112, and Aerosmith’s Rocks I associate with my friends little car….man, there was so much time for music back in those days….and there was so much GREAT music to fill the time! Great cars and great music…..what do they got now? Music? Flavor of the week. Cars? OMG…..I can’t even name one!….there is the one that used to have the cool video of the hamsters dancing, but can’t think of the name….anyway, that car would have been decidedly UNCOOL back in the day!!! πŸ˜‰

Whatever, this video was another that I began years ago….it’s not the video I started and planned to make which was mostly a black and white beat generation affair, but when I finally found the perfect video footage to add in, I decided it would be better in a longer video so I chopped it all out and just repeated the color effects that I’d made…kinda cheated and just repeated some transitions from my last video (I try not to repeat the same effects in videos that are next to each other…but it happens! LOL!). Wow…it’s been a long time since I did some Tull up in here!? Gotta get a few more out of the pipe into the now! πŸ˜‰

I’ve always loved the lyrics to this track, and Ian’s double tracked vocal. This album was not very well received when it was released…

(***start Wiki) Rolling Stone complained about the “muddled story” of the album, saying that “Ian Anderson should stick to music, because he most definitely is not a storyteller.” The same review praised Anderson’s skill at musical composition, and the guitar solos of Martin Barre.(***end Wiki)

…but it has always seemed an underrated, unique and beautiful record. It was the first Jethro Tull album I ever bought on release date (first on that 8-track, and a couple of weeks later on LP) and though back then it was hard not to compare it to Minstrel In The Gallery, Thick As A Brick, or Aqualung (and find it “minor” in comparison) today it sounds just like classic Tull! (Funny how time can elevate once non-worthy albums right into the thick of an artists “classic” sounding records?)

As usual HUGE THANKS to everyone who’s art made this new art possible….THANK YOU! And thank YOU for sticking around! πŸ™‚

From a dead beat to an old greaser, here’s thinking of you
You won’t remember the long nights;
Coffee bars; black tights and white thighs
In shop windows where blonde assistants fully-fashioned a world made
Of dummies (with no mummies or daddies to reject them)
When bombs were banned every Sunday and the Shadows played FBI
And tired young sax-players sold their instruments of torture
Sat in the station, sharing wet dreams of Charlie Parker,
Jack Kerouac, René Magritte, to name a few of the heroes
Who were too wise for their own good left the young brood to
Go on living without them

Old queers with young faces who remember your name,
Though you’re a dead beat with tired feet;
Two ends that don’t meet
To a dead beat from an old greaser
Think you must have me all wrong
I didn’t care, friend I wasn’t there, friend,
If it’s the price of pint that you need, ask me again

You have entered the Twilight Zone

“The Twilight Zone” was released on Rush’s fourth studio album, the groundbreaking, epic, masterpiece, 2112 in the spring of 1976. I’ve talked about this album on my other videos for tunes from it (this is my fourth track from the album….and my 10th Rush vid), so I won’t subject you to the repetition of me saying how great it is……you probably know that already!?

I’ve seen every single episode of The Twilight Zone and it was fun to feature a couple of clips in a video. I hope you enjoy the video….thanks for watching!

As usual HUGE THANKS to everyone who’s art made this new art possible…THANK YOU!!!!

A pleasant faced man steps up to greet you
He smiles and says he’s pleased to meet you
Beneath his hat the strangeness lies
Take it off, he’s got three eyes
Truth is false and logic lost
Now the fourth dimension is crossed…

You have entered the Twilight Zone
Beyond this world strange things are known
Use the key, unlock the door
See what your fate might have in store…
Come explore your dreams’ creation
Enter this world of imagination…

You wake up lost in an empty town
Wondering why no one else is around
Look up to see a giant boy
You’ve just become his brand new toy
No escape, no place to hide
Here where time and space collide

You have entered the Twilight Zone
Beyond this world strange things are known
Use the key, unlock the door
See what your fate might have in store…
Come explore your dreams’ creation
Enter this world of imagination…

And You And I….Classic Yes track from 1972.

From Yes’s progressive rock classic album, Close To The Edge (from the fall of 1972) comes, “And You And I”. This track was the first and longer of the two songs that made up side two. It remains a thing of beauty after all these years…happy to finally get a vid for it. This was a very tough video to finish, mainly because I was working on both this track and the title track at the same time, and kept getting effects crossed up and had a hard time deciding which things to use in which video. The result was a bit of a compromise as I was seriously struggling to keep each video a separate and unique project, with just enough shared effects to tie them together. “Close To The Edge” is well on it’s merry way….but I’m gonna have to spend some time away from it for awhile (or I’ll just rush through chunks without worrying too much about repeating or timing, as I ended up doing with this one….it’s not too bad though, I’m just glad to be finished as it was starting to feel like work! πŸ˜‰

Thumb1 Thumb2

As usual HUGE THANKS to everyone who’s art made this new art possible; especially the clips from “Winged Migration”…this is one extremely beautiful film and the few seconds I used don’t begin to do it justice. Check it out: http://www.sonyclassics.com/wingedmigration/index_flash.html

[Lyrics]
A man conceived a moment’s answer to the dream
Staying the flowers daily sensing all the themes
As a foundation lent to create the spiral aim
A movement regained and regarded both the same
All complete in the sight of seeds of life with you

Changed only for a sight of sound the space agreed
Between the picture of time behind the face of need
Coming quickly to terms of all expression laid
Emotions revealed as the ocean made
All complete in the sight of seeds of life with you

Coins and crosses
Never know their fruitless worth
Cords are broken
Locked inside the mother Earth
They won’t hide they won’t tell you
Watching the world watching all of the world
Watching clouds go by

And you and I climb over the sea to the valley
And you and I reached out for reasons to call

[II Eclipse]

Coming quickly to terms of all expression laid
Emotions revealed as the ocean made
As a movement regained and regarded both the same
All complete in the sight of seeds of life with you

[III The Preacher, The Teacher]

Sad preacher nailed upon the coloured door of time
In the same teacher be there reminded of the rhyme
There’ll be no mutant enemy we shall certify
Political ends as sad remains will die
Reach out as forward tastes begin to enter you

I listened hard but could not see
Life’s tempo change out and inside me
The preacher trained in all to lose his name
The teacher travels asking to be shown the same
In the end we’ll agree we’ll accept we’ll immortalize
That the truth of man maturing in his eyes
All complete in the sight of seeds of life with you

Coming quickly to terms of all expression laid
As a moment regained and regarded both the same
Emotion revealed as the ocean made
A clearer future morning evening nights with you

[IV Apocalypse]

And you and I climb, crossing the shapes of the morning
And you and I reach over the sun for the river
And you and I climb, clearer towards the movement
And you and I called over valleys of endless seas
