Happy New Year 2017! BOC’s “Fireworks” from 1977’s Spectres album.

Fireworks – Blue Oyster Cult (1977) Blu-Spec FLAC 1080p Video ~MetalGuruMessiah~

Happy New Year’s all! Let’s hope it’s a good one!? (Better than the hell year most of us feel 2016 was?!) Uploaded an hour before midnight (CST) and published just a few minutes before…this will be my last video of 2016. Thanks to all my friends and fans who have stuck around with me and offered me support and encouragement for the efforts….or those who just watched the videos! Looking forward to another year hanging out with my YouTube friends who share my love of classic rock, progressive rock, reggae, country, soul, new wave, power pop, new rock.,…and all the rest!

“Fireworks”….another classic BOC tune from another classic BOC album. Updated description on the way.

[Lyrics]
She went down to her house by the water
To hide herself from his grasp
He went down to the water to find her
To consumate their love at last

Then the lightning flashing (flashing crashing)
Fireworks shooting up in her head (in her head)
The earth was shaking (shaking quaking)
Fireworks pouring down on her head (on her head)
Only sound she heard was (lovely word)
Fireworks like a charm (annointed)
Blazing red

She went down to escape from her prison
To free herself from her fears
All those years up to here with tradition
And opportunity so near

Then the lightning flashing (flashing crashing)
Fireworks shooting up in her head (in her head)
The earth was shaking (shaking quaking)
Fireworks pouring down on her head (on her head)
Only sound she heard was (lovely word)
Fireworks like a charm (annointed)
Blazing red

She went down on a snow white pillow
To cast herself in the looking glass
He knew the time had finally come now
To break the spell they shared at last

Then the lightning flashing (flashing crashing)
Fireworks shooting up in her head (in her head)
The earth was shaking (shaking quaking)
Fireworks pouring down on her head (on her head)
Only sound she heard was (lovely word)
Fireworks like a charm (annointed)
Blazing red
